In a statement, Fahmi acknowledged the hard work of journalists, photographers, camera crews and other media practitioners who continue to work on the ground to keep the public informed throughout the election campaign. "Behind every piece of news we read, there is a media person working tirelessly in the field," he said, thanking media professionals for their dedication in delivering the latest election updates to the people. Fahmi also extended his gratitude to the Bernama team for inviting him to visit the Bernama Media Centre in Johor Bahru during his trip on Tuesday. Pakatan Harapan Draws Strong Crowds at Three Johor Campaign Ceramah Despite Heavy Rain

JOHOR, July 8 — Pakatan Harapan (PH) reported encouraging attendance at three separate campaign ceramah held across Johor on Tuesday night, with supporters turning up in large numbers despite challenging weather conditions in some areas. According to PH, the gatherings took place in Batu Pahat, Johor Jaya and Chaah, where crowds showed strong support for the coalition ahead of the Johor state election. In Batu Pahat, heavy rain failed to dampen the enthusiasm of attendees, with supporters remaining at the venue throughout the event despite the downpour. Meanwhile, ceramah in Johor Jaya and Chaah also recorded what the coalition described as exceptional turnout, reflecting growing momentum as campaigning intensifies. Pakatan Harapan expressed its appreciation to all supporters who attended the events and reiterated its campaign message, urging Johor voters to back the coalition under the slogan, "Johor Forward, Vote HARAPAN." Johor PRN: PN candidates want Paloh development to be on par with urban areas

KLUANG, July 8 -- Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate for the Paloh State Legislative Assembly (DUN), D Jeevakumar wants to ensure that residents in the area enjoy development and facilities comparable to urban areas if given a mandate in the Johor State Election (PRN) this time. He said that among the main issues that need attention are job opportunities for the youth, besides drainage, road problems and wild animal nuisance which are often raised by residents. "The main problem in the Paloh DUN is related to the youth, namely job opportunities. Followed by drainage problems, road problems and wild animal problems. "If given the mandate to be the ADUN in the Paloh area, I will ensure that the Paloh community also receives the same attention as the community living in the city," he told Astro AWANI. Jeevakumar said the goal is to ensure that the residents of Paloh can enjoy facilities and a quality of life comparable to those in urban areas. In this Johor PRN, the Paloh DUN has 27,966 registered voters and witnessed a four-cornered contest involving the Barisan Nasional (BN) incumbent, Lee Ting Han; Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate, Dr Ruban Arumugam; Jeevakumar; and Independent candidate, G Kamaleswaren.
