KUALA LUMPUR — A meeting was held with the Yayasan Mahir Malaysia delegation led by its chairman, Ganes Palaniapan, to discuss initiatives aimed at strengthening the development of the nation’s talent and workforce skills.
During the meeting, several key matters were discussed, particularly efforts to empower workforce capabilities and expand training and skills enhancement opportunities for Malaysians.
Both sides also examined ways to further develop initiatives related to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), which plays an important role in producing a skilled and competitive workforce.
Strategic partnerships between stakeholders were highlighted as crucial in strengthening TVET development, while also helping to produce more local talents who are highly skilled and capable of contributing to the country’s economic growth.
Such collaborations are expected to further support Malaysia’s efforts in building a sustainable and future-ready workforce.
