SEREMBAN, August 4 2026 — Three foreign workers were killed and another injured following a fight at Taman Linggi, Port Dickson, yesterday evening.
Negeri Sembilan Police Chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said police received a public report at about 4.15 pm regarding a fight involving Bangladeshi plantation workers.
A police team from the Linggi police station was dispatched to the scene and arrested a male Bangladeshi suspect in his 40s believed to be involved in the incident.
Further investigations led police to discover the bodies of two other Bangladeshi men, aged in their 40s and 50s, in the nearby Sua Manggis plantation area in Linggi.
All three victims were pronounced dead after suffering serious injuries to multiple parts of their bodies, while another injured worker is receiving treatment at Rembau Hospital.
Initial checks found that the suspect has no prior criminal record. He was remanded for seven days by the Port Dickson Magistrate’s Court today to assist investigations.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder, with police still working to determine the motive and circumstances surrounding the incident.
