KOTA TINGGI, August 25 2026, Two men and a woman were killed in a two-vehicle crash near a petrol station in Tanjung Leman, Jalan Jemaluang here this afternoon.
Operations commander, Senior Fire Officer II Azlan Hamzah said they received a call about the crash at 5.05 pm and a team of eight firefighters were dispatched to the scene located about 45 kilometres from the station.
“The team arrived to find a crash between a Honda City and a Toyota Vios. A man, 21, and woman, 20, in the Honda City, as well as a man, 31, in the Toyota Vios were pronounced dead by Health Ministry officers.
“The team removed the victims using a rescue cutter and stretcher before handing them over to the police for further action,” he said in a statement tonight, adding that the operation ended at 6.59 pm.
Meanwhile Kota Tinggi district police chief Supt Yusof Othman said in a separate statement that the case was still being investigated and a statement would be issued shortly.
