AMK Calls for Swift Resolution of N. Sembilan Royal Dispute

KUALA LUMPUR, September 26 2026, Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) has called for the dispute involving the Negeri Sembilan royal institution to be resolved swiftly, with all parties respecting the Federal Constitution, state laws and legitimate customary procedures.

AMK chief Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim said any attempt to remove or undermine the reigning ruler, Yang Dipertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, was improper and contrary to the obligation to uphold the dignity of the Malay Rulers.

He said justice, proper conduct, established procedures and the interests of the people must take precedence over political interests.

Muhammad Kamil also urged the MADANI Government to table reports on FELDA, MARA and NAFAS, including updates on asset recovery and action against those allegedly responsible for misappropriation, abuse of power and asset losses.

He also called for greater focus on quality jobs, fair wages and skills development for young people, as well as better social protection for gig workers.

On the Melaka state election, he said AMK’s machinery in key constituencies had been strengthened, while several young candidates had been submitted to PKR’s central leadership for consideration.
