PKR Negeri Sembilan Hopes State Administration Issue Resolved Soon – Aminuddin

SEREMBAN: The Negeri Sembilan PKR State Leadership Council (MPN) hopes the issues involving the state’s institutions and administration can be resolved soon to ensure government affairs and the interests of the people are not affected.

Its chairman, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, said the current developments involved not only constitutional and royal institutional matters but also raised concerns over the continuity of state administration, economic stability and public welfare.

The former Menteri Besar said uncertainty over the position of members of the State Executive Council (Exco) could delay important matters requiring consideration and approval by the state authorities.

He said this could affect investments, development, land approvals and transfers, as well as the implementation of projects, potentially impacting investor confidence, business activities, employment and the people’s income.

Aminuddin also said the appointment and functions of Village Development and Security Committees (JPKK) and local council members should not remain unresolved, as they serve as links between the government and the people at grassroots level.

He urged all political leaders to exercise wisdom, avoid statements that could escalate tensions and allow constitutional and legal processes to resolve the matter.

The comments came after Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim met Yang Dipertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir at Istana Hinggap on Tuesday. The meeting was understood to be related to the state’s administrative issues and current developments.

Tuanku Muhriz had revoked the appointments of 10 state Exco members effective Sept 20. The revocation was gazetted on Sept 24.
