IPOH, Oct 8 — Two siblings were killed after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a car in Kampung Teluk Sareh, near Kampung Gajah, early this morning.
The victims, a 19-year-old woman and her 18-year-old younger brother, were pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
The Perak Fire and Rescue Department said it received a distress call at about 4.29am before personnel from the Kampung Gajah Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched to the location.
Upon arrival, rescuers found a Toyota Yaris in a ditch with its driver inside, while the motorcycle rider and pillion rider were also found in the same area.
The car driver, who was seriously injured, was taken to Seri Iskandar Hospital for further treatment.
The bodies of the two victims were handed over to the police for further action.
