KUALA LUMPUR, October 17 2026, Malaysian Muay Thai fighter Muhammad Johan Ghazali Zulfikar secured a unanimous decision victory over Diego Paez in their flyweight rematch at ONE Friday Fights 175 & The Inner Circle 35 in Bangkok, Thailand, last night.
The 19-year-old, popularly known as “Jojo”, delivered a composed and disciplined performance over three rounds at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, earning the approval of all judges.
The victory marked redemption for the Sarawak-born fighter, who had suffered a split decision defeat to the 32-year-old Paez in their first meeting in June last year.
Determined to settle the score, Johan demonstrated improved tactics and patience throughout the bout, controlling the pace with powerful combinations of punches and kicks while effectively neutralising Paez’s counterattacks.
The win strengthens Johan’s standing as one of Malaysia’s rising Muay Thai talents.
