Zahid Sets Sights on Bringing ‘Blue Wave’ to Melaka

JASIN: UMNO president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is rallying Barisan Nasional (BN) machinery to bring the “Blue Wave” to Melaka, following encouraging signs of readiness among party members in Jasin ahead of the state election.

Zahid said he witnessed strong enthusiasm among UMNO Jasin division members during a gathering last night, with leaders, veterans and younger members uniting in preparation for the coming electoral contest.

He said the party’s strength depended on maintaining unity across generations while ensuring its election machinery remained organised and connected to grassroots supporters.

Zahid urged party members to intensify their efforts to win the confidence of voters, stressing that electoral victory required hard work and sustained engagement with the people.

With political contests in Johor and Negeri Sembilan behind it, Zahid called on BN machinery throughout Melaka to move forward with a common purpose.

“Johor has been seen. Negeri Sembilan has been through. God willing, now we bring the Blue Wave to Melaka,” he said.

He ended his message with the rallying slogan, “Mana Lagi? Melaka Ler!”, signalling his determination to build momentum for BN ahead of the state polls.
