MELBOURNE, Oct 29 – CLOU Electronics has showcased its latest energy storage solutions at All Energy Australia 2026. The event took place in Melbourne on October 28 and 29.
The company presented battery systems for power grids, businesses and homes. These solutions aim to support Australia’s growing demand for reliable energy storage.
CLOU also received an AS/NZS 3000 conformity report for its Aqua-C series during the exhibition.
CLOU Presents Solutions for Different Markets
CLOU showcased products for three main markets. These include large power projects, commercial and industrial sites, and homes.
The company also plans to work with Australian distributors, engineering firms and project developers. Through these partnerships, CLOU aims to expand across Australia and the wider Oceania region.
Meanwhile, Australia’s growing use of renewable energy is creating new demand for battery storage. Rooftop solar systems are also increasing the need for home energy storage.
Aqua-C Series Receives Conformity Report
One major highlight was the conformity report for CLOU’s Aqua-C series from TÜV Rheinland.
AS/NZS 3000 sets electrical installation safety requirements in Australia and New Zealand. The report gives project developers and installers an additional technical reference.
As a result, the report may help support project planning and electrical safety assessments.
Large Battery Systems Support Energy Projects
CLOU presented several battery systems for large-scale energy projects.
Its Aqua-C2.5H is a liquid-cooled battery system with 5 megawatt-hours (MWh) of storage capacity. CLOU reported that global shipments of this product series reached 12 gigawatt-hours (GWh) by September 2026.
The system helps control battery temperature. It also uses active cell balancing to support battery performance.
In addition, CLOU presented the Aqua-C3.0. This system uses 587 Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells and provides 6.25 MWh of storage capacity per unit.
The company also introduced the Aqua-C3.0 Ultra. Each unit offers 5.154 MWh of capacity in a compact 13-foot enclosure.
Its smaller design may reduce transport costs and installation needs. It may also help projects make better use of available land.
Battery Storage for Businesses
CLOU also introduced the Aqua-E261 and Aqua-X261 systems for commercial and industrial users.
Each unit provides 261 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of storage capacity. Businesses can use these systems in several settings.
For example, they can support mining operations, industrial parks and commercial buildings. They can also work alongside solar-powered electric vehicle charging facilities.
These systems help businesses manage energy use. Furthermore, they can support the integration of renewable power.
Global Projects Build CLOU’s Experience
CLOU highlighted projects in challenging environments to demonstrate its experience.
In Argentina’s Catamarca province, the company supplied energy storage systems for lithium mining operations at an altitude of 4,100 metres.
Meanwhile, in Chile’s Atacama Desert, CLOU reported that its systems operated for more than 900 days without faults.
The company said its experience supports projects in areas with high temperatures, high altitudes and difficult site access.
CLOU has reported more than 23 GWh in contracted and delivered energy storage systems across over 100 countries.
CLOU Expands Production Capacity
CLOU’s Yichun facility in China has an annual battery storage production capacity of 20 GWh.
The company is also expanding its manufacturing operations in Indonesia. Its long-term target for that expansion is 18 GWh of production capacity.
Through its participation in All Energy Australia 2026, CLOU aims to build new partnerships and expand its presence in the renewable energy market.
