PETALING JAYA, May 26 — Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) has announced a restructuring of its election operations machinery as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s preparedness for upcoming elections.
In a media statement issued today, PKR secretary-general Dr Fuziah Salleh said the party’s Political Bureau meeting on May 25 agreed on several strategic realignments aimed at improving election readiness and operational coordination.

As part of the reshuffle, Amiruddin Shaari has been appointed Joint Election Director alongside Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
Meanwhile, Azman Abidin has been named head of the party’s main Election War Room, assisted by Ruji Ubi, to enhance strategic coordination, field operations and election monitoring.
PKR said the appointments form part of a broader internal restructuring to ensure the party’s election machinery remains organised, aligned and capable of operating effectively at all levels.
The party added that the reorganisation continues previous efforts to strengthen election structures between state and branch levels, while increasing the use of data, systems and technology through the implementation of the TERAS election system.
PKR also said Nurul Izzah Anwar will continue to play a strategic role, particularly in developing grassroots machinery capacity and strengthening party operations nationwide.
According to the statement, the party recorded 5,936 new members between April and May, reflecting continued grassroots support and participation.
PKR said the latest restructuring demonstrates its commitment to consolidating party ranks, reinforcing grassroots confidence and ensuring the entire election machinery operates as a united and disciplined team ahead of future electoral challenges.
