KUALA LUMPUR, June 19 — His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, today received a courtesy call from Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Mohd Khalid Ismail at Istana Bukit Tunku here.
The meeting was held in His Majesty’s capacity as the Honorary Commissioner of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).
During the audience, Sultan Ibrahim was briefed on various matters concerning national security and the maintenance of public order throughout the country.
The briefing provided updates on current security developments as well as ongoing efforts by the Royal Malaysia Police to ensure the safety, peace and well-being of the rakyat.
The audience reflects the close cooperation between the Palace and the nation’s security institutions in safeguarding stability and public confidence in Malaysia’s law enforcement system.
Tan Sri Mohd Khalid’s visit also underscores PDRM’s commitment to keeping His Majesty informed on key issues affecting national security and public safety.
