KUALA LUMPUR, July 1 — Malaysians will enjoy lower fuel costs and cheaper banking services from today following the implementation of two key measures announced by the government.
The retail price of diesel has been reduced to RM2.10 per litre, providing relief to consumers and businesses that rely on diesel-powered vehicles for daily operations.
In a separate development, the RM1 fee for cash withdrawals at automated teller machines (ATMs) has been abolished, allowing customers to make ATM withdrawals without the additional charge.
The two initiatives are expected to help ease the cost of living by reducing transportation and banking expenses for the public.
