PONTIAN, July 4 — Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari campaigned in Pulai Sebatang on Saturday, throwing his full support behind Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Haniff Hosman in the Johor state election.
Speaking during a campaign programme at Kampung Jawa Ulu, Amirudin described Haniff as a longtime friend whom he has known since their school days, saying their longstanding friendship has given him first-hand knowledge of Haniff’s character, dedication and commitment to public service.
Amirudin said Haniff, who serves as the KEADILAN Pontian Division Chief, has spent years assisting local communities and addressing the concerns of residents. He added that despite finding success as an entrepreneur and graduating from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Haniff chose to return to his hometown to serve the people of Pontian because he believes the district deserves greater development and opportunities.
Expressing confidence in Haniff’s leadership, Amirudin said the PH candidate possesses the determination, experience and commitment needed to represent the people of Pulai Sebatang effectively in the Johor State Legislative Assembly.
He also called on voters in Pulai Sebatang to unite behind Haniff and Pakatan Harapan, expressing optimism that strong public support would translate into victory for the coalition in the Johor state election.
