PUTRAJAYA, September 8 2026, Cooperation and consensus among members of the Cabinet are, as a whole, at a good level, thereby contributing to the country’s political stability, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He said this had enabled the government to plan and implement the country’s development agenda based on clear policies and a stable political environment.
“True, we cannot deny that our performance has been commendable because we have clear policies, political stability and cooperation within the Cabinet, although sometimes on social media it is a little different.
“But in terms of cooperation, we generally have good consensus and this provides an indication of stability and allows us to plan for the country,” he said when delivering his address during his meeting with the staff of the Ministry of Plantations and Commodities here today.
Anwar said the existing stability must be leveraged by the government to continue planning and implementing policies that benefit the country and the people as a whole.
