15 October 2026, BANGKOK, Oct 15 (PRNewswire) — DronTech Asia 2026 will bring together international technology providers, government agencies and industry stakeholders to showcase developments in commercial and defence drone technologies in Bangkok next month.
The exhibition’s third edition will take place from Nov 11 to 13 at Hall 5 of the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, featuring more than 150 exhibiting brands and companies, over 5,000 expected international visitors, five indoor and outdoor demonstrations, and more than 15 conference sessions and technical seminars.
The event comes as drones gain wider adoption across agriculture, infrastructure, logistics, public safety and national defence, supported by advances in artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, autonomous navigation and communications technology.
The Asia-Pacific drone market is projected to reach approximately US$30.2 billion in 2026 and grow to US$62.4 billion by 2033, representing a compound annual growth rate of 10.9%. Thailand’s drone market was valued at about US$262 million in 2025, according to Next Move Strategy Consulting.
Manu Leopairote, chairman of GML Exhibition (Thailand) Co Ltd, said the event would help businesses and governments understand emerging drone capabilities, explore new applications and connect with technology providers across the region.
Exhibitors will showcase technologies spanning reconnaissance, surveillance, unmanned aerial systems, enterprise surveying and mapping, cloud computing and AI-powered data processing.
Featured participants include STM, presenting its reconnaissance and surveillance UAVs and loitering munitions; KNDS, showcasing ammunition technologies; DJI Enterprise by SIS, featuring the Matrice 4E surveying and mapping drone; Amazon Web Services, highlighting cloud and AI capabilities; and STC, presenting its LUN-20 unmanned aerial system.
The conference programme will cover commercial and defence applications, including low-altitude economic development, regional drone industry cooperation and next-generation military unmanned systems.
Technical presentations will also examine cloud-powered drone operations, AI-enabled autonomy for defence and agriculture, and technologies designed to address satellite navigation vulnerabilities, including jamming and spoofing.
Visitors will be able to observe indoor demonstrations by participating technology providers and organisations, while outdoor demonstrations supported by Thailand’s Digital Economy Promotion Agency will highlight applications in disaster management, smart transportation and logistics.
Organised by GML Exhibition (Thailand) Co Ltd, DronTech Asia 2026 aims to connect international suppliers with buyers and end users across Thailand and the wider ASEAN region.
The event is open to industry professionals seeking to explore new technologies, establish business partnerships and gain insights into the expanding commercial and defence drone sectors.
