GOF Seizes Suspected Smuggled Beauty Products, Honda Jazz Worth RM80,770

KOTA BHARU, Oct 23 2026, The General Operations Force (GOF) seized suspected smuggled beauty products worth RM770 and a Honda Jazz valued at RM80,000 during an operation in Kampung Pulau Ular, Tumpat, yesterday.

Southeast Brigade Commander Datuk Ahmad Radzi Hussain said the seizure was made at about 4 pm when personnel from the Strike Force of Battalion 9 were patrolling the Pengkalan Kubor area.

He said the team stopped a white Honda Jazz after noticing its suspicious movements as it emerged from beneath Jambatan Ular.

A search of the vehicle uncovered two pink plastic packages containing various beauty products, including 22 packages of White White Orange soap, a box of Whitening Underarm Serum, a box of Sequil Chic and two boxes of Smoot o BB & CC.

Ahmad Radzi said preliminary investigations indicated that the products were believed to have been smuggled from Thailand through Sungai Golok using illegal landing points before being sold through TikTok.

The 32-year-old woman driving the car reportedly admitted to selling the products through her TikTok account, “Fealora Beauty Shop”, about once a week, depending on customer demand.

He said the woman, the vehicle and the seized products were handed over to the Kelantan State Health Department’s Pharmacy Services Division at 8.30 pm for further investigation.

The case is being investigated under Regulation 7(1)(a) of the Control of Drugs and Cosmetics Regulations 1984.
