PUTRAJAYA — Young national racer Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli has made an early “review” of the Ayrton Senna International Autodromo Circuit, Goiania ahead of the second round of the Brazilian Grand Prix (GP) World Motorcycle Championship (MotoGP) this season.
Muhammad Hakim Danish, better known as Hakim Danish, said he had studied the video to understand the character of the circuit because this was the first time he and most of the other riders had competed at the circuit.
“For Brazil, it’s a new circuit for everyone and I’ve also watched it on my phone and I’ve learned from it. I also saw that the circuit is quite good and I hope to record good results,” he said at the media breaking fast ceremony with the MKA Group here today.
Meanwhile, the 18-year-old rider said his main focus now is to improve several weaknesses identified after the season-opening race in Thailand.
“What I can see, in the first race in Thailand, there is still a lot of room for me to improve, including my riding and also the adjustments to the motorcycle,” he said.
He said the aspects of motorcycle adjustments, especially the chassis and handling when braking were among the things that needed to be improved.
The second round of the World Motorcycle Championship this season is scheduled to take place at the Ayrton Senna International Autodromo Circuit, Goiania in Brazil from March 20 to 22.
