Houthi Rebels Strike Aramco Building After Saudi-Led Coalition Attacks Sanaa

RIYADH: Yemen’s Houthi rebels have attacked an administrative building belonging to Saudi oil giant Aramco in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, hours after a Saudi-led military coalition struck oil facilities in Houthi-controlled Sanaa, Yemen.

Saudi Arabia’s Energy Ministry said the attack sparked a fire at the building, but no casualties or injuries were reported.

Before the strike, Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree warned workers and civilians to stay away from Saudi oil facilities, declaring them “legitimate targets” if attacks in Yemen continued.

Earlier, the Saudi-led coalition had urged civilians to evacuate the area around a major Yemeni Oil Company fuel station in Sanaa. Several explosions were subsequently reported following airstrikes on the oil facility.

Tensions have also escalated after Saudi authorities said several Houthi missiles targeting Riyadh were intercepted. Falling missile debris reportedly injured four people and damaged 15 homes.

Saudi Arabia has continued its military operations in Yemen in support of the internationally recognised government against the Houthi advance.

The Saudi Cabinet, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, warned that the Houthis would face consequences for continued attacks on Saudi territory.

The latest developments come amid escalating cross-border attacks targeting Saudi airports and energy infrastructure.
