15 October 2026, SEOUL, South Korea, Oct 15 (PRNewswire) — LG Electronics is expanding its WashTower™ laundry appliance lineup with a new 25-inch model designed to combine large-capacity washing and drying with space-saving convenience.
The new model joins the existing 24-inch and 27-inch versions, giving consumers more options to suit their living spaces, laundry requirements and lifestyles.
The LG WashTower features a vertically integrated washer and dryer with independently operated drums, allowing users to wash and dry separate loads simultaneously. Its compact design aims to maximise laundry capacity while offering greater installation flexibility.
The appliance also features a streamlined exterior with a hidden-hinge door, a push-operated detergent box and a 6.8-inch touch LCD display. Its centrally positioned control panel enables users to manage settings and monitor washing and drying progress from one interface.
In terms of performance, the new model incorporates TurboWashâ„¢ technology to reduce washing time, DUAL Inverter HeatPumpâ„¢ technology for energy-efficient drying and Turbo Dry to shorten drying cycles.
LG’s Prepare to Dry feature enables a three-kilogramme laundry load to be washed and dried within 120 minutes. Meanwhile, AI Washâ„¢ 2.0 analyses load weight, fabric characteristics and soil levels to optimise washing and rinsing.
Additional intelligent features include AI Dry, which assesses fabric type, load size and humidity to determine suitable drying times, and AI Time Sensing, which estimates cycle duration based on detected laundry characteristics.
The AI Laundry Report provides information on load size, detergent usage and energy consumption through the appliance’s control display. Users can also connect the WashTower to the LG ThinQâ„¢ application to monitor laundry progress and receive notifications remotely.
LG said the new WashTower will begin rolling out in Asia, the Middle East and Latin America later this year, with additional markets to follow from 2027.
Baek Seung-tae, president of LG’s Home Appliance Solution Company, said the expanded lineup would provide consumers with greater flexibility in choosing a premium laundry solution suited to their space and needs.
He added that the new model demonstrates how capacity, performance and space efficiency can be combined in a single appliance.
