PUTRAJAYA, October 5 2026 — Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook is expected to provide further details today on the suspension of My E.G. Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Bhd as collection agents for the Road Transport Department (JPJ).
Loke is scheduled to hold a press conference at the Transport Ministry in Putrajaya at 11am to address the matter.
The suspension of both companies, which are under the MYEG Group, took effect at 12.01am today following JPJ’s decision over compliance with the terms and conditions of their agreement, as well as obligations that remain unfulfilled or unresolved.
JPJ has confirmed that all services previously offered through MYEG Group channels are suspended, but assured the public that its services will continue through official and alternative channels.
These include JPJ counters and kiosks, the MyJPJ application, the department’s public portal, post offices and Mobile JPJ units.
The suspension comes amid reports that Zetrix AI owes more than RM200 million in unremitted collections involving vehicle road tax, driving licence renewals and traffic summonses.
JPJ has also clarified that Computerised Highway Code Test (KPP01) bookings made through MYEG before Oct 5 remain valid and can proceed as scheduled.
Further details on the suspension and the companies’ outstanding obligations are expected to be addressed by Loke during today’s press conference.
