KUALA LUMPUR, March 3 (Bernama) – The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) total recovered money and assets in 2025 from corruption and abuse of power cases will be a key focus in today’s Dewan Rakyat sitting.

According to Parliament’s Order Paper, V Ganabatirau (PH-Klang) will ask Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for these figures, including comparative statistics before and after the MADANI Government’s administration, during Minister’s Question Time.

Datuk Seri Shahidan Kasim (PN-Arau) will also ask the prime minister about the investigation status by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) regarding the alleged attempt to overthrow the Government, its threat to parliamentary democracy, and whether elements of embezzlement or misuse of state funds are being investigated.

During the oral questions session, Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias (BN-Jelebu) will ask how the Government ensures legislation drafting remains thorough and not rushed, particularly for laws affecting people’s rights and the economy. Datuk Abdul Khalib Abdullah (PN-Rompin) will question the Health Minister on the latest statistics on non-communicable diseases (NCDs) among rural residents and measures to curb dialysis treatment costs, including adding dialysis satellite centres in small districts.

The sitting will also include the second reading of the Constitution (Amendment) (No.2) Bill 2026, which addresses the separation of the roles of the Attorney-General and Public Prosecutor.
