KUALA LUMPUR — A subsidiary of Mah Sing Group Bhd, M Industrial Development Sdn Bhd, has signed a supplemental agreement with Aura Muhibah Sdn Bhd for the proposed acquisition of a piece of freehold land in Kulai, Johor.
Aura Muhibah Sdn Bhd is a wholly owned unit of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Mah Sing said the supplemental agreement revises certain terms and conditions of the previously announced proposed land purchase.
The acquisition forms part of the group’s strategy to expand its industrial development portfolio and strengthen its presence in the industrial property segment.
Mah Sing said the proposed land acquisition will support the development of its industrial projects in Johor, in line with rising demand for industrial and logistics facilities in the state.
The group has been actively expanding its industrial developments to capitalise on opportunities driven by Malaysia’s growing manufacturing and logistics sectors.
