The national hockey team has secured qualification for the 2026 Netherlands–Belgium Hockey World Cup, even though they will only play Japan in the third-place playoff tomorrow.
This follows the outcome of another third/fourth-place qualifying match in Chile, which featured Wales and Poland — both ranked lower than Malaysia, who are currently 13th in the world.
