KUALA LUMPUR, May 8 2026– The government plans to expand the Quranic MADANI spiritual programme on a wider scale in efforts to spread messages of love, peace and unity among the public.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Dr Zulkifli Hasan said the programme, featuring selawat, zikir, munajat and tazkirah, serves as an important platform in fostering national harmony.
“We are starting the Quranic MADANI programme today and will continue it on a larger scale.
“Our goal is to spread messages of peace and unity to further reinforce brotherhood and ties of kinship among Malaysians,” he told reporters after the ‘Quranic MADANI: Night Reset – Bersatu dalam Saf’ programme in Bukit Bintang here tonight.
Also present was PKR deputy president Nurul Izzah Anwar.
Zulkifli said the message conveyed through the programme reflects the aspirations of peace-loving Malaysians.
“The message conveyed highlights love, respect and moderation for us to build a peaceful, harmonious and developed Malaysia,” he said.
