UMNO Malaysia Supreme Working Council Meeting which takes place on 11 May 2026 coinciding with 23 Zulkaedah 1447H at Johor State UMNO Relations Body Hall, Johor Bahru has discussed and made the following provisions:
1. UMNO joins in worship and express our love for the outpouring of His Royal Highness His Royal Highness, Sultan Ibrahim, as well as His Royal Highness Tunku Mahkota Ismail, Acting Sultan of Johor, set out to pollute the duli in conjunction with the 80th Anniversary Celebration of UMNO at Istana Besar Johor today.
2. Indeed, the departure of His Royal Highness the King and His Royal Highness Tunku means a lot to the whole big family of UMNO in commemorating the historic moment of the founding of UMNO at Johor on 11 May 1946.
3. UMNO also joins in worshiping for the outpouring of appreciation for the official photography session at Tangga Agung Istana Besar Johor, a historical location that bears witness to the unification of the Malays in defending religion, race, land and the sovereignty of the Malay Kings.
4. From the spirit of struggle and unification, that is the birth of UMNO as a vessel for the nation’s struggle that later became the main pillar to independence and the formation of a sovereign country.
5. The 80th UMNO Anniversary Celebration is not just a reminiscence of the history of the past struggle, but a reminder that the strength of a nation lies in the unity of the people, the stability of the country and loyalty to the institutions of the Malay Kings as the umbrella of the nation.
6. After eight decades, UMNO remains committed to continuing the fight for religion, race and homeland and defending the key foundations that shape the country.
7. UMNO also joins the prayers of gratitude for the shade, wisdom and concern of the institutions of Malay Kings that have always been the pillar of unity, stability and welfare of the country.
8. UMNO took note of the effectiveness of the online registration of new members which recorded the number of new members after 20 days of launch reached 16,867 members and 71% of whom were among young people.
