KUALA LUMPUR, July 14 — His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, today received the credentials of six newly appointed foreign heads of mission to Malaysia and presented appointment credentials to five Malaysian ambassadors who will serve abroad.
The King graced the Presentation of Credentials Ceremony held at Istana Negara, where six foreign representatives formally presented their credentials as heads of diplomatic missions in Malaysia.
The newly appointed foreign envoys are His Excellency Rabin Gungoo, High Commissioner of Mauritius; His Excellency Nevzat Uyanik, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye; and His Excellency Dato’ Paduka Abdur Rahmani Dato’ Paduka Haji Basir, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam.
Also presenting their credentials were His Excellency Ahmed Olatunji Sulu Gambari, High Commissioner of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; His Excellency Raymond Serge Bale, Ambassador of the Republic of Congo; and His Excellency Ermal Muca, Ambassador of the Republic of Albania.
During the same ceremony, Sultan Ibrahim also conferred appointment credentials on five Malaysian heads of mission who will represent the country overseas.
They include His Excellency Dato’ Muzafar Shah Mustafa, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Indonesia; His Excellency Jamal Sharifuddin Johan, Ambassador of Malaysia to Vietnam; and His Excellency Muhammad Radzi Jamaluddin, Ambassador of Malaysia to Mexico.
The King also appointed His Excellency Dato’ Shahabudeen Adam Shah as Ambassador of Malaysia to Italy and His Excellency Edi Irwan Mahmud as Ambassador of Malaysia to Morocco.
Also present at the ceremony were Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Utama Mohamad Hasan and Foreign Ministry Secretary-General Tan Sri Amran Mohamed Zin.
The presentation of credentials ceremony reflects Malaysia’s continued commitment to strengthening diplomatic relations and enhancing cooperation with countries around the world.
