PRN: PM Anwar expected to launch Johor PH machinery tomorrow night

JOHOR BAHRU, June 5 -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is also the Pakatan Harapan (PH) Chairman, is scheduled to launch the state PH machinery for the 16th Johor State Election (PRN) tomorrow night. Johor PKR Vice Chairman, Jimmy Puah Wee Tse, through a post on Facebook today, said that the launch was scheduled to take place at the Chinese High School Hall, Batu Pahat at 8pm. "Launching of the Johor PH PRN machinery. ' We are ready '," the post said. PH Deputy Chairman and DAP Secretary-General, Anthony Loke Siew Fook and Amanah President, Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu are also expected to be present at the launch. Previously, Johor PH announced that it would contest all 56 State Legislative Assembly (DUN) seats in this PRN. In the 2022 Johor state election, BN won 40 state seats, PH (12), Perikatan Nasional (three) and MUDA (one). The Johor State Assembly was dissolved on June 1 after receiving the consent of the Regent Sultan of Johor Tunku Mahkota Ismail. -- BERNAMA
