“WORK, WAGES AND THE FUTURE OF KESUMA IN FOCUS” — YB RAMANAN

KUALA LUMPUR,17 APRIL -- R. Ramanan delivered a keynote address at a joint session of the Concorde Club, bringing together media practitioners from both local and international agencies for a meaningful and candid exchange of ideas yesterday. During the session, Ramanan highlighted key issues surrounding employment, wages, and the future direction of the Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA). He also outlined the MADANI Government’s ongoing efforts to promote more inclusive economic growth while creating quality job opportunities for Malaysians. The discussion was marked by open and mature engagement, with participants raising sharp and critical questions—particularly on current labour market challenges and the policy direction KESUMA is expected to take in the coming years. Ramanan welcomed the constructive discourse, noting that such engagements are vital in refining policies and ensuring they reflect real challenges faced on the ground.
