The audience session provided an opportunity for the JPJ Director-General to brief His Majesty on the latest developments within the Road Transport Department, including ongoing initiatives and the department’s strategic direction in enhancing public service delivery, improving compliance with road transport laws, and strengthening the nation’s road safety agenda. During the meeting, matters related to the department’s efforts to modernise its services and improve efficiency for the benefit of the rakyat were also discussed. In a statement, JPJ expressed its deepest appreciation to His Majesty for granting the audience and reaffirmed its unwavering loyalty to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the institution of the Malay Rulers as the pillar of the nation’s sovereignty and unity.
