Moderate Earthquake Hits Mindanao, Philippines

KUALA LUMPUR, July 6 -- A moderate earthquake, with a magnitude of 5.7, struck the Mindanao region of the Philippines at 4.11 pm today. The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) in a statement said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres (km), 171 km south of Koronadal City, Philippines.
