Datuk Seri Dr. Zahid Chairs KKDW Development Meeting, Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthening Rural Development Agenda

KUALA LUMPUR, July 14 — Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has reaffirmed the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development's (KKDW) commitment to ensuring the effective implementation of rural development initiatives for the benefit of communities across the country. Chairing the Ministry Development Action Council (MTPK) meeting at Parliament on Tuesday, Zahid reviewed the progress of various development projects and programmes being carried out under the ministry. He said the meeting served as an important platform to monitor implementation, coordinate efforts and ensure that projects are progressing according to plan. Zahid stressed that effective coordination between ministries, government agencies and all stakeholders remains essential in delivering development programmes efficiently and achieving the intended outcomes. "I have always believed that strong coordination among ministries, agencies and all parties involved is the key to more effective implementation," he said. The Deputy Prime Minister added that KKDW remains committed to continuously improving the delivery of rural development initiatives to enhance the well-being and quality of life of rural communities. He said the ministry will continue to strengthen its development agenda to ensure that every programme and project benefits the people while contributing to balanced and inclusive national development.
