KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic flow on the main highway heading to the Klang Valley was moving smoothly and under control this morning. A spokesman for the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said they expect an increase in traffic starting this afternoon until late at night heading towards the Klang Valley as people begin to return home after the Aidilfitri holiday.

Traffic is smooth on all major highways this morning

KUALA LUMPUR — Traffic flow on the main highway heading to the Klang Valley was moving smoothly and under control this morning.

A spokesman for the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said they expect an increase in traffic starting this afternoon until late at night heading towards the Klang Valley as people begin to return home after the Aidilfitri holiday.

“PLUS has also activated Smart Lane in 34 locations from 9am to 10pm this evening to help smooth traffic flow,” he said when contacted by Bernama .

Highway users are advised to plan their journey according to the Recommended Travel Time Schedule issued by the concessionaire, in addition to getting enough rest before starting to drive.
