TV3’s Melodi Enters A New Era With Fresh Look, Expanded Content And New Hosting Duo

KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 2026: After years of remaining one of Malaysia’s most popular entertainment programmes, Melodi has entered a new chapter with a refreshed image, broader content and a new hosting partnership aimed at attracting today’s audiences.

Since July 16, the iconic TV3 programme has introduced a new visual identity and studio set, while adopting a more modern approach to covering developments in the local entertainment industry.

Melodi is no longer focused solely on celebrity stories, but has expanded its coverage to include film, music, drama, fashion, lifestyle and major entertainment events. The revamped programme also features exclusive reports and current stories that are generating interest among fans of Malaysia’s arts and entertainment scene.

One of the most notable changes is the appointment of actor Kamal Adli as the new host. Known as the “King of Threads”, Kamal joins Ain Edruce, who is already recognised for her relaxed and entertaining presenting style.

With his spontaneous personality and strong on-screen charisma, Kamal is expected to bring a new dimension to Melodi. Together, the duo aims to create a more energetic, casual and audience-friendly atmosphere.

The programme has also introduced a new segment, Muzik-Muzik 41, which focuses on weekly developments in Malaysia’s local music charts. In addition to tracking the songs dominating the charts, viewers can participate in the voting process leading up to the prestigious Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL) awards.

The music initiative has also been extended to radio through a partnership with Hot FM, which has become the official radio partner of Muzik-Muzik 41 via the Carta Juara Lagu segment.

Broadcast every Sunday from 8 pm to 10 pm with host Keymi, the segment features the 20 songs currently occupying the Muzik-Muzik chart.

The collaboration between television, radio and digital platforms is expected to give fans greater access to the latest developments in Malaysia’s music industry across multiple media channels.

With its new look, refreshed hosting team and expanded entertainment coverage, Melodi appears ready to enter a new phase while maintaining the identity that has made it one of the country’s favourite entertainment programmes.

The new Melodi airs live every Thursday at 9 pm on TV3 and is also available for streaming on Tonton. Viewers can follow the programme’s latest updates on Instagram and TikTok via @meloditerhangat.
