JOHOR, JULY 7 — Politician Yuneswaran expressed his appreciation for the spirit of togetherness among the Indian community in Johor through the Malam Irama Bersama Masyarakat India Johor programme held recently.
He said the programme reflected the unity of the community through the mediums of art, culture and music, while also serving as a platform to strengthen relationships among the people.
Yuneswaran also praised the energetic performance by renowned Malaysian singer and rapper Yogi B, which successfully enlivened the atmosphere throughout the event.
According to him, programmes such as this not only provide the public with opportunities to engage with the local music industry and its performers, but also serve as a platform to celebrate cultural diversity, which remains one of Malaysia’s greatest strengths.
The event was further graced by the presence of Amirudin Shari, Vice President of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (KEADILAN) and Selangor Menteri Besar.
