LENGGENG, July 21 – Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has praised the dedication and commitment of KEMAS personnel in Negeri Sembilan, describing them as key contributors to the development of future generations and the empowerment of rural communities.
Speaking to KEMAS staff at the Community Activity Centre Hall in Kampung Pantai, Lenggeng, Ahmad Zahid said he was encouraged by the enthusiasm shown by KEMAS officers and educators, who continue to serve communities across the state with dedication.
He said KEMAS plays a vital role not only in providing quality early childhood education but also in nurturing balanced individuals equipped with both academic knowledge and strong moral and religious values.
Ahmad Zahid highlighted the importance of strengthening the KEMAS Pre-Tahfiz Programme, which aims to ensure children receive a solid foundation in Islamic education alongside their formal learning.
He said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to producing a generation that is intellectually capable while remaining grounded in strong ethical and spiritual principles.
The Deputy Prime Minister also expressed his appreciation to TABIKA KEMAS teachers for their patience and dedication in introducing young children to the Quran and instilling positive values from an early age.
According to him, every lesson taught and every value imparted would become a lasting contribution towards producing future leaders with knowledge, integrity and exemplary character.
Ahmad Zahid thanked all KEMAS personnel in Negeri Sembilan for their continuous service and sacrifices, urging them to remain committed to their mission of educating children and strengthening communities.
He said their efforts today would not only shape the future of the younger generation but also contribute to the long-term progress and prosperity of Negeri Sembilan and its people.
