KUSKOP Allocates Nearly RM7 Billion Under ‘Power Up 10K’ Initiative to Support 213,000 MSMEs

KUALA LUMPUR, JULY 23 –The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP) has channelled nearly RM7 billion through the ‘Power Up 10K’ initiative to support more than 213,000 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) nationwide while strengthening the growth of local businesses.

The initiative aims to provide greater assistance to entrepreneurs by enhancing access to financing, business development programmes and support mechanisms to help them expand their operations.

KUSKOP said the programme reflects the government’s commitment to empowering local entrepreneurs, boosting the competitiveness of MSMEs and contributing towards a stronger and more resilient domestic economy.

Through continued support and strategic initiatives, the ministry hopes more businesses will be able to scale up, create employment opportunities and play a bigger role in Malaysia’s economic development.
