Wee Ka Siong Rallies Support for BN Candidate Leaw Kok Chan in Temiang

SEREMBAN, July 30 — MCA President Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has called on voters in Temiang to support Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Dato’ Leaw Kok Chan, describing him as the most qualified candidate to represent the constituency in the upcoming Negeri Sembilan state election.

Speaking during the Salam Agrikomoditi programme in Temiang Jaya on Wednesday night, Wee said Leaw’s extensive experience in public service makes him well-equipped to serve the people of Temiang.

He noted that Leaw, affectionately known as “Ah Chan” among his Malay friends, had previously served as a local councillor, Special Officer to a Negeri Sembilan State EXCO member, and Senior Private Secretary to the Deputy Minister of Education.

Wee also commended the dedication of the BN election machinery, particularly the Seremban UMNO Division, for working tirelessly throughout the campaign to secure victory for the coalition in Temiang.

Several BN leaders were present at the programme, including UMNO Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad, MCA Vice-President Datuk Seri Dr Wee Jeck Seng, MCA leader Tan Eng Meng, UMNO Secretary-General Datuk Wira Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki, MCA Negeri Sembilan Chairman Datuk Lawrence Low Ah Keong, Datuk Teah Heok Kuin, Dato’ Mazalan Maarop and Datuk Lattefah Aliy.

Wee said BN had received an encouraging response from voters during the campaign and expressed confidence that the coalition’s message was resonating with the local community.

He urged voters to come out in full force on Aug 1 and cast their ballots for all Barisan Nasional candidates, including Leaw Kok Chan for the Temiang state seat.
