Anwar Approves RM2.8 Million For Islamic Education Institutions In Kedah

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has approved an additional RM2.8 million allocation this year to repair basic infrastructure at 14 Islamic education institutions across Kedah.

Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, said the allocation aims to provide students with a more comfortable and safe learning environment.

In a Facebook post yesterday, he said the MADANI Government would continue strengthening Islamic education institutions and promoting the study and understanding of hadith in society.

Anwar also announced RM250,000 for the implementation of hadith-related programmes.

He said both allocations would be coordinated by the Kedah Implementation Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department (ICU JPM).

He expressed hope that the initiatives would benefit students and further cultivate a culture of knowledge in society.
