PUTRAJAYA, October 10 2026, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has reiterated Egypt’s commitment to a two-state solution, supporting the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the July 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
He said the Palestinian issue remained a key concern in West Asia and was among the main topics discussed during his meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
El-Sisi stressed that a lasting and just resolution must be based on international resolutions and guarantee the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
