Resort Strengthens Environmental Practices
The Ritz-Carlton, Bali has introduced several measures to reduce its environmental impact.
First, the resort separates waste for more responsible handling and disposal. It also turns garden waste into compost, which is reused as fertiliser for its plants.
In addition, the resort is working to reduce the use of single-use plastics and paper. Energy-saving measures are also in place to encourage more efficient electricity consumption.
The resort also uses recycled water to irrigate its landscaped gardens. This helps conserve water while maintaining the property’s green spaces.
Food Donations and Local Suppliers Support Communities
Beyond environmental measures, the resort also focuses on community support.
Surplus food is donated to charitable foundations. Meanwhile, sourcing products from local suppliers helps support nearby businesses and producers.
These efforts form part of the resort’s wider approach to responsible hospitality, which aims to balance guest experiences with care for the destination.
