BANGKOK, November 3 – Thailand is preparing to showcase its growing drone and unmanned technology industry as DronTech Asia 2026 returns to Bangkok from November 11 to 13.
The event will bring together government agencies, defence organisations, technology developers, manufacturers and commercial operators to explore the latest developments in unmanned systems.
Organised by GML Exhibition (Thailand), the third edition will take place at Hall 5 of the IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center. More than 150 brands and companies are expected to participate.
The opening ceremony will be led by GML Exhibition Chairman Manu Leopairote, alongside senior officials from Thailand and other Asian government agencies.
AI Translation to Support International Visitors
This year’s event will introduce AI-powered real-time translation across its international conference and technical presentation sessions.
The system will provide both text and audio translation. As a result, international visitors will be able to follow presentations and discussions more easily, regardless of language differences.
Conference to Explore the Future of Drone Technology
The international conference will examine policy, market trends and technological developments shaping the unmanned systems industry.
Key discussions will include the growth of the low-altitude economy, Thailand’s role in the regional drone industry and the future capabilities of military unmanned systems.
Representatives from organisations such as the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), the Defence Technology Institute (DTI) and NECTEC are expected to contribute to discussions.
Technical Sessions to Highlight New Innovations
The technical programme will focus on practical developments in drone engineering, software and supporting technologies.
Featured presentations will cover cloud-based drone operations and AI-enabled autonomy for defence and agriculture.
Other topics include technologies that protect satellite navigation systems against signal interference, 3D mapping and industrial 3D printing for drone manufacturing.
These sessions aim to help engineers, developers and industry professionals understand how emerging technologies can improve their operations.
Live Demonstrations to Showcase Real-World Applications
Visitors will also have opportunities to see drones, robots and other unmanned systems in action.
Outdoor demonstrations will highlight how drones can support search-and-rescue missions, firefighting, emergency response and logistics.
Indoor demonstrations will feature tactical drone operations, aerial surveillance, humanoid robots, quadruped robots and unmanned ground vehicles.
The displays will also demonstrate how land, air and sea systems can work together through integrated control platforms.
International Companies to Present Their Technologies
The exhibition will feature companies working across commercial drones, defence systems, navigation, manufacturing and autonomous technology.
Among the exhibitors are STM, CT UAV, DJI Enterprise by SiS, Avilon Robotics, NORSITAL GROUP, Thai Sky Vision, CHC Navigation and T-MOTOR.
Their technologies cover areas such as flight control, anti-drone systems, mapping, drone propulsion, battery solutions and autonomous flight software.
The event will also give buyers, distributors and operators opportunities to compare solutions, meet suppliers and explore potential business partnerships.
