Dialogue with MIMCOIN Key to Sustainable, Inclusive Development–Ramanan

KUALA LUMPUR — Human Resources Minister Ramanan Ramakrishnan welcomed a courtesy visit by the Dewan Perniagaan dan Perindustrian India Muslim Malaysia (MIMCOIN) at his office, describing the engagement as a constructive step toward strengthening inclusive economic development.

The delegation was led by MIMCOIN president Datuk Abdul Hamid PV, alongside senior representatives from the organisation.

During the meeting, both sides discussed key challenges faced by the Indian Muslim business community as well as opportunities for strategic collaboration.

Various proposals and ideas were presented and reviewed in detail, focusing on ways to enhance economic participation and sustainability.

Ramanan said such engagements are vital in shaping policies that reflect the needs of diverse communities.

“This meeting provided a valuable platform to exchange views on the challenges faced by the community and to explore strategic collaborations.

“Commitments like these are essential to ensure economic development that is inclusive, sustainable, and beneficial to all levels of society,” he said.

He added that the ministry remains open to continued dialogue with industry groups to support broader national development goals.
