KUALA LUMPUR: National Moto3 racer Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli displayed an impressive performance when he collected three valuable points after finishing the race in 13th place at the United States Grand Prix (US GP), early this morning. The 18-year-old Malaysian rider had a difficult start to the third lap after crashing in the first qualifying session (Q1), which forced him to start the race in 25th place. However, the Kuala Terengganu-born AEON-Credit MT Helmets-MSi team rider displayed a high fighting spirit and consistent riding from the bottom position to overtake several top riders, thus placing himself in the final group of points. The race was won by Italian rider Guido Pini (Leopard Racing), followed by championship leader Maximo Quiles (CFMOTO Valresa Aspar Team) in second place while Alvaro Carpe (Red Bull KTM Ajo) completed the podium. The result obtained at the Austin Circuit saw Danish Judge now collect nine points and occupy 14th place out of 27 riders in the Moto3 World Championship chart. The country's young racer will continue competing in the Spanish GP at the Jerez Circuit on April 24.
