CSTS Enterprises Joins World Tennis Continental Cup to Expand Global Reach

NEW YORK, Oct 30 – CSTS Enterprises has joined the World Tennis Continental Cup (WTCC) as a co-organiser ahead of the tournament’s second edition in Shenzhen, China.

The partnership aims to expand the competition’s international reach and develop it into a wider sports and entertainment platform.

The 2026 tournament will run from Dec 23 to 27. It will bring together leading tennis players from Asia and the rest of the world.

International Tennis Stars to Compete in Shenzhen

The 2026 event will feature an intercontinental team competition between the World Team and Asia Team.

The World Team includes two-time Grand Slam finalist Karolína Muchová, Olympic gold medallist Andrey Rublev and Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik.

Meanwhile, the Asia Team will feature Paris 2024 Olympic mixed doubles silver medallists Wang Xinyu and Zhang Zhizhen. Rising Chinese player Bu Yunchaokete will also join the team.

Wang Xinyu will serve as the tournament’s ambassador for 2026.

Five-Day Event to Offer More Activities

The second edition will expand from three days to five days.

A free public tennis carnival will take place from Dec 23 to 25. The main ticketed matches will follow on Dec 26 and 27.

Visitors can also enjoy live music, junior tennis competitions and player activities. These include training sessions and autograph opportunities.

Organisers expect between 150,000 and 200,000 visits during the five-day event in Shenzhen.

The first edition, held in December 2025, attracted more than 30,000 spectators. It also reached audiences in 46 countries.

CSTS to Support Global Growth and Fan Experiences

As co-organiser, CSTS will contribute its experience in sports, entertainment, hospitality and fan engagement.

The partnership aims to combine top-level tennis with live entertainment and premium hospitality services.

Planned activities include VIP programmes, exclusive hospitality packages and opportunities for fans to meet players. International visitors may also have access to travel packages and lifestyle events.

CSTS said its experience with major international sports properties, including the FIFA World Cup, Formula 1 and the UEFA European Championship, would support WTCC’s expansion.

WTCC Aims to Become a Year-Round Sports Platform

Beyond the competition, WTCC plans to develop a year-round platform for tennis, culture and international exchange.

The partnership with CSTS is expected to help connect the tournament with more fans, brands and commercial partners around the world.

CSTS Group CEO and Executive Director Abel Zhao said the partnership would combine the company’s global event and hospitality capabilities with WTCC’s vision.

He added that both organisations aimed to build an international platform that appeals to players, fans and brands.
