PUTRAJAYA, May 14 — Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo today shared encouraging progress following a productive meeting with Tech Mahindra on several ongoing initiatives involving legal and data protection systems as well as smart city governance solutions.
Gobind said Tech Mahindra’s Personal Data Protection AI System is being developed as an integrated end-to-end platform that will enable citizens to submit complaints or cases and monitor the status of their resolution through a single digital interface.
He added that the proposed system is expected to strengthen public access to services while improving transparency and efficiency in handling complaints and data protection matters.
Meanwhile, Gobind noted that the C initiative is aimed at enhancing urban safety and improving road infrastructure management through AI-enabled and data-driven insights.
According to him, the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to leveraging advanced technologies to support smarter governance and better public service delivery.
“Efforts like these are important in ensuring that technology is not only advanced, but also practical, inclusive, and able to deliver long-term benefits for the rakyat,” he said.
The meeting also underscored the importance of strategic collaboration between the government and technology industry players in accelerating Malaysia’s digital transformation agenda.
