KUALA LUMPUR, July 3 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today received a farewell courtesy visit from Dato’ Sri Dr. Mohd Uzir Mahidin ahead of his mandatory retirement as Chief Statistician of Malaysia on July 8.
Anwar expressed his appreciation for Mohd Uzir’s dedicated service and commitment in strengthening Malaysia’s national statistical institutions, describing reliable and credible statistics as a vital foundation for evidence-based policymaking and the country’s long-term development planning.
