KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 – Jalan Raja Chulan will be fully closed temporarily from midnight to 5.00am on Tuesday (July 7) to facilitate the installation of a pedestrian bridge.
Authorities said the temporary closure is necessary to ensure the safety and smooth execution of the construction works.
Motorists are advised to plan their journeys earlier and use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion. Suggested alternative routes include Jalan Conlay, Jalan Stonor, Jalan Kia Peng and Jalan Eaton, which are connected to Jalan Tun Razak before making a U-turn back towards Jalan Bukit Bintang.
During the closure period, road users are reminded to follow all traffic signs, comply with instructions from traffic control personnel and observe safety measures in place.
The public is urged to cooperate with the authorities to ensure smooth traffic flow and the safe completion of the pedestrian bridge installation works.
