JOHOR BAHRU, July 6 – Pakatan Harapan Deputy Chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu yesterday has called on Johor voters to exercise their democratic rights by casting their ballots on July 11, stressing that every vote will determine the future direction of the state. Speaking at the Johor Hope Tour Talk held at the JIASON Supermarket Compound in Masai on Sunday night, Mohamad, popularly known as "Bang Mat", urged the people not to leave the state's future in the hands of others. He said the MADANI Government under Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is working tirelessly to strengthen Malaysia's economy through increased investments, job creation and people-centric initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of all Malaysians. According to Mohamad, Johor stands to benefit even more by having a state government that works in tandem with the Federal Government, enabling development projects, investment opportunities and government assistance to be implemented more effectively for the benefit of the people. He expressed confidence that with a strong mandate from the people, Pakatan Harapan would continue to drive Johor towards becoming a more developed, stable and prosperous state while ensuring that no community is left behind, regardless of race or religion.
