JOHOR BAHRU, July 7 — The early voting process for the 16th Johor State Election began smoothly today, with eligible early voters turning out to fulfil their civic responsibility at designated polling centres across the state.
The Election Commission (EC) is monitoring the voter turnout percentage for early voting, with the latest figures recorded as of 10.00am on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
Early voting is being conducted for registered early voters, including members of the security forces and other eligible groups, ahead of the main polling day scheduled for July 11, 2026.
The EC has advised voters to follow the voting procedures and ensure a smooth process at polling stations throughout the early voting period.
